PGIMER exposes separate patient services for online pre-registration, OPD schedules, lab reports and helplines. The safest route is to identify the task first, read the relevant guidance, and enter patient credentials only after you have reached a PGIMER-controlled service.
Choose what you need to do
I want to register for OPD
Understand new vs returning patient routes, the difference between pre-registration and a specific-doctor appointment, and how reschedule/cancellation work.
I need the OPD schedule
Check general registration hours separately from department/unit days and locations.
I need a lab report
Use the CR Number + OTP workflow for currently supported reports and understand the 30-day online window.
I already have a CR Number
Learn where the existing patient identifier is used and how it differs from a pre-registration number.
I need teleconsultation
Check the current department list and separate new/old-patient instructions.
I need a phone number
Find New OPD, emergency/reception, advanced-centre and selected special helplines with context.

Open official PGIMER service ↗If this is your first PGIMER visit
Do not start with a random portal button. First identify the department, check the OPD day, confirm the current registration window and then use the appropriate official registration route. The first-visit guide also explains current reception points and practical facilities published by PGIMER.
If you are already a PGIMER patient
Keep the existing CR Number associated with the patient record. Returning-patient services, lab reports and old-patient teleconsultation can rely on that record and the registered mobile number. If the mobile/OTP flow fails, resolve the record issue through PGIMER rather than creating a second patient identity.
Where should CR Numbers, OTPs and patient details be entered?
PGI OPD Guide does not collect CR Numbers, OTPs, Aadhaar numbers, lab-report PDFs or medical histories. Our job is to explain the route and make the handoff to PGIMER obvious.
Routine OPD vs emergency
Online pre-registration, schedules and report retrieval are routine patient-service tasks. They should not delay emergency care. PGIMER publishes round-the-clock emergency enquiry/reception routes and emergency registration services.
Patient-service questions
Is this the official PGIMER patient portal?
No. PGI OPD Guide is an independent navigation website. Official actions open on PGIMER-controlled domains.
Why are there separate guides instead of one long page?
Each page solves a distinct patient task—registration, schedule, reports, teleconsultation, first visit, CR Number or contacts—while avoiding multiple near-duplicate pages for keyword variations.
Does this site store patient information?
No. The Route Finder and Schedule Finder do not require patient credentials.
