PGI OPD Guide is an independent patient-navigation website focused on publicly available PGIMER Chandigarh services. It is not owned, operated or endorsed by the Postgraduate Institute of Medical Education and Research (PGIMER).
Why this website exists
PGIMER has separate pages for online pre-registration, department schedules, lab reports, patient contacts and other services. Those official pages are the authority, but the route between them can be confusing for a first-time or returning patient. PGI OPD Guide organizes the process around real tasks: “How do I register?”, “Which OPD day applies?”, “Where is my report?”, “What is a CR Number?” and “Which hospital number should I call?”
How we stay clearly independent
We do not use PGIMER’s logo or present this website as a hospital portal. Official actions are labelled as PGIMER services and link to PGIMER-controlled domains. The site does not issue appointments, registrations, reports or medical advice.
How information is checked
Changeable operational information is checked primarily against PGIMER-controlled sources. High-sensitivity facts—such as OPD schedules, phone numbers, teleconsultation eligibility and registration workflows—carry a verification date in the site data so they can be reviewed again instead of silently becoming stale.
What we deliberately do not collect
The Patient Route Finder and Schedule Finder work without a CR Number, OTP, Aadhaar number, lab report or medical history. When a hospital credential is required, the user is sent to the official PGIMER service.
